Though he is new to twitter, James Knowles @barkingdognews has been telling stories since the beginning. Like an arching bridge, his objective has been to connect worlds. Craving to initiate with big ideas James Knowles is all about the adventure. He has identified his voice as Barking Dog News and this (C) Level storyteller is here to make some noise.
The Roger Smith Hotel in midtown Manhattan is known for its creativity, comfort and hospitality. This boutique hotel is a perfect hotel for just about every traveler. The question often arises, Who is Roger Smith?
Thinking about his recent sculpture James Knowles is reflecting “In the minds eye.â€
Adam Wallace and Brian Simpson represented the Roger Smith Hotel with style at Jeff Pulver’s 140 Characters Conference claiming “Its all about the peopleâ€, as a slide show of social happenings played in the background.
Many people and corporate industries were represented at #140conf. With a common interest in Technology, Social Media and real time interaction, people of like interests met. We engaged with 70 + people over three days and made some interesting discoveries. One such discovery was the Kodak Zi8. I was honored to talk with Jeff Hayzlett of Kodak who made it a point to meet as many people as possible. We explored the social direction of the company and the state of now. It was insightful speaking with the influencers in the social internet.
The distinct features that differentiate the Zi8 from the flip are desirable. The ability to plug in an external mic is clutch when making good quality film. The Zi8 is a great, compact social media tool.
Only Magic at the Magic Castle!
I want to take the time to thank Jeff Pulver and Jeff Hayzlett for putting the conference together and facilitating a large amount of energy in one place. I look forward to fostering the new relationships made at Jeff Pulver’s 140 Character Conference in LA.

Did we cause the blackout? Does anyone know how that came about?
