Pancity as a form of artistic expression can be seen from many angles. It is an inspired idea that is projected and replicated to create an atmosphere where imagination is the key to its limits. It is a way of understanding your creative potential. The ability to transform an idea into a reality, no matter how fantastic the concept.Â
A difficult Rocky Road
Â
“Do it or don’t do it. But not doing it is like committing a sin and doing it is painful. It is a difficult rocky road.” Commitment to an idea is not easy. You must follow through in times of opposition and distraction. The most rewarding part is the ability to see the idea become a reality.Â
Â
Characters
In the evolution of Pancity there are different inspirations that become part of its foundation. Dancing figures create a movement that gives depth to the visual expression.Â
Urban Crystals
With each phase of Pancity there is a collaboration that occurs. Each individual ads their creative power to the mix and soon the city is alive with activity. The Urban Crystals by James Knowles became the focus in exploring the nature of light and shadows. With reflective surfaces and video projections Pancity expands to all visual corners of the room.
