Damon Tomolino in the Solarium

No Comments 23 July 2009

I am proud to announce the first art show in the new Solarium event space at the Roger Smith Hotel. The work of Damon Tomolino is carefully hung in the space and will be on exhibition till September.

The opening for this show will be on Thursday evening August 20th, 2009 in conjunction with the Roger Smith Shorts film festival. You can find more information on the work of Damon Tomolino on Panman Gallery.

4222 Studio Visits: Tommolino

Tommolino said that he would let me do the studio visit under two circumstances: one, that we drink a bottle of fine brandy together, two, we play chess. Being an obligatory creature I had no objections to Damons clauses. Then he smiled. Thats what Damon Tommolino is like: a morsel of truth encased in an even finer casing of truth, which is always humor, the heart of the Universe.

In mourning MJ I must share with you one of the best cinematic performances by the late “King of Pop”. Directed by John Landis this short film is a classic. One of Michael’s finest moments. If you have time, you should watch the film in its entirety.

Thriller

Rest in Peace, Michael Jackson!
